Gallery Yamaki Fine Art was establised in 2006 as a gallery specializing in contemporary art in the heart of Kobe City. Starting with the presentation of the art movement that took place in France at the end of the ‘60s, the Support/Surface, the gallery has continued to feature works by Japanese and European artists in the postwar period. More than five times a year, Gallery Yamaki Fine Art holds solo exhibitions of established and emerging artists, as well as special exhibitions that connect the past to the present day. Gallery Yamaki Fine Art also performs a good function in disseminating Japanese art by actively participating in international art fairs such as Basel Hong Kong and Frieze New York.
