KAITO Saiko

KAITO Saiko

Gallery Yamaki Fine will hold an exhibition of Kaito Saiko.

Born in Hida Takayama in 1974, Kaito Saiko went over to France after graduating university.
Her plane works are themed on the horizen and in her solo show at our gallery in 2009, a series of the works of sky which impressed her on her journey was introduced and favorably accepted. The horizens she draws look at first sight hazy layers of colours. However those shapes and layers of the colours are the exquisite expression of nature that has many faces according to the seasons and wethers as well as the deep container to hold “the sky, the earth, the ocean, the light, the air, time, temperature, sign and thought” of each person who view the picture, the beauty and the wonder that are too common to notice.
Besides plane works, three-dimentional works, that are the result of the lessons from the renouned sculpture, Paul Flury, are also exhibited this time.
