JAMMES began work in the beginning of the 80s in the flux of the French ” Figuration Libre” movement. He created photographs of famous artists, like Julian Schnabel, Andy Warhol and Basquiat, etc. As subjects for his work, his unique style portraiture is realized by mixing photograph and painting. For example, he added various decorative touches to the print that he took of Andy Warhol, a technique by the way which was inspired by Andy Warhol’s works.
