Gallery Yamaki Fine Art is pleased to present the exhibition “Passage of Fictions and Realities.” This exhibit features works by Kuniyoshi Ixima, Jean LE GAC, and Florian Süssmayr on the theme of exploring “fiction” and “reality.”
They incorporate the fictions and mechanisms created by novels, the Internet, and photography into their work. Ixima captures the human mental structure, which is more complex than it appears, by using photographs of people who have no relationship with himself and have no sense of reality. LE GAC creates fictional stories on a pictorial plane, pretending to tell his own narratives. Süssmayr depicts everyday scenes while his works seem away from a sense of reality. Their intentions will be unlocked in contrast through this show.
